Welcome to the Tool & Equipment Co. Web site. We are a local business celebrating a 30 year history in industrial and residential structures relating to air conditioning, electrical systems, lighting, environmental testing and energy saving products.

We have three such energy saving products that have Been tested by laboratories and by us in the field. All three have been successful in numerous application with excellent results. These products are commercial spin offs of NASA technology.

You may have heard of RADIANT BARRIER FOIL. It reflects 97% of the sun’s radiant energy. It replaces regular fiberglass (cheaper too) and will cut your energy costs by 20-40%. When used over existing R19 insulation it will equal approximately an R52

You probably haven’t heard of INSULADD. It is added to any coating of that is sprayed, rolled, or brushed. When mixed into paint an application of two coats will give an equivalent of an R20. Use it inside a structure or out. It is microscopic ceramic hollow beads that have a partial vacuum. The space shuttle uses INSULADD and it is the only product of its kind in the world. This will reduce your energy costs 15%-30%.

PROATEQ is a Polarized Refrigerant Oil Additive that when put in the air conditioners and refrigeration units makes them work more efficiently. Only an ounce is needed for every ton of refrigeration and will last as long as it’s in the system. The Magnusson-Moss Bill passed in congress has ruled that air conditioning manufacturers cannot void their warranty when PROATEQ is added. The government has recommended that it be used in all federal buildings. You will save 20%-50% on your energy consumption.
